Amazingly when workmen work creating the connection to the new main drainage for the club they discovered a mediaeval jug almost ion tacked.

The work was being done between the club house and the garage of the Old Manor, this would have formed part of the stable block built in the 19th century, but was probably a midden or similar area related to the older building on the site prior to the new house being built.

The jug is now kept in the clubs trophy cabinet.
