The club had a great evenings entertainment when Salmon Dave came to the club for a third visit on Saturday the 28th. Ian and Chris were on great form and played until last orders!
The event was well attended – it was great to see some members from Alconbury and to have some of the younger members from the village. It was great to hear some of the old favourites – some going back to the 20s – 1920’s!! By the end of the evening the audience participation was in full swing.
The younger members didn’t realise that us oldens knew how to have a good time and were introduced to some new names – Mrs Mills, Harry Champion and Chas and Dave.
We are always on the lookout for singers and musicians to come to the club, so if you know some fresh talent or someone starting out let us know.
